Physical Education

The Health and Physical Education Program at St. Luke’s promotes the student’s physical, social and emotional development. Food nutrition, health and safety are key components of the program.

St.Luke's school provides a program where skills are focused and developed sequentially. The skills are taught and then applied to major and minor team games.

Students apply the social skills of co-operation and fairplay, while participating in the multi-dimensional nature of physical activity.

Students at St.Luke's school examine the factors that influence healthy lifestyles through the choice of food selection and the role nutrition plays in growth and development. They explore health resources, services and products to promote a greater awareness of individual health and the health of our community.
